    Hands down the most beautiful new sculpt of 2017, in my eyes!

    It's not just that a more shallow placement would make the eye cavity trickier to sculpt, and the thinner eyelid trickier to cast. There is also an even bigger problem: a naturalistically thin eyelid would leave no "ledge" of material to glue the eyelashes to.

    I'm afraid it'll be some time before we see a really, truly, naturalistic face sculpt, alas — but in the meanwhile, Iplehouse does a bloody good job! I especially love the eyes of this one...

    I like the small eyes. But all BJD's have deep-set eyes, because the eyes have trouble fitting into the hole, so if Iplehouse can improve on that, so the eyes bulge out the way they do on a human, instead of being too deep in the face, that will be the last detail for total realism I think. The size is good, and I like the iris, but I still miss the more transparent color of eyes, I would like to see her with other types of eyes, like the ones they use for large eye dolls, but in her size.

    Oo, she looks amazing! Strong and gorgeous, and I love the shape of her face. ^_^ I think the more-realistic smaller eyes work well for this sculpt. I don't always like them on every one, though. I hope we'll still see a variety.
